Shooting the Tennessee Valley Authority Power Plant
In early August, Maggetti Productions flew into Tennessee to shoot for Foxboro Instruments: a division of Invensys Operations Management. Maggetti Productions was sent to photograph the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Power Plant in Rogersville, Tennessee. Between boarding a plane in Orange County Tuesday morning and landing back home Wednesday evening, the Maggetti Team successfully captured the photography needed for the client. The Tennessee Valley Authority is a federally owned corporation created by congressional charter in May 1933. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt created the corporation after the Tennessee Valley was particularly impacted during The Great Depression. The TVA Power Plant provides navigation, flood control, electricity generation, fertilizer manufacturing, and economic development to the surrounding areas. Amongst scorching temperatures, nearly unbearable humidity and an oncoming storm, Paul and crew were able to generate the imagery needed to fill the TVA Power Plant Brochure. Comments
